COMMISSION a Portrait of a BABY

WHAT? I'll paint/draw a portrait of your (or your friend's) pretty baby!
HOW? After placing your order, you provide me with reference photos. (If you'd like, you're welcome to share any stories, symbols, thoughts related to your baby. This is not required and I may not use it.) Then, I get to work, and paint you a sweet portrait! Beyond your reference photos, I will take full creative control. So you can sit back, relax and imagine the possibilities. Email me your reference photos at [email protected]
OK, CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME SPECIFICS? You will receive a small original unframed painting/drawing on 100% cotton archival Arches watercolor paper. The size of the finished artwork will be around 6"x8” to 9”x12”—a sweet intimate size :) The media of the study will be watercolor and/or gouache and/or pencil.
I’M IN. WHEN? You can expect to receive your study in two to eight weeks after I receive your reference photos. If you have a specific deadline, send me an email at [email protected] to make sure I can complete the portrait in time.
OK. WHAT DO I DO? After placing your order, email your references photos to [email protected]. Email as many reference photos as you like—the more photos the better—but please send all photos in one single email. See photo tips below.
IMPORTANT PHOTO TIPS. The best reference photos are well lit, are in focus and ideally feature the whole body of the baby. Send as many photos as you like. The more the better.
THE FINE PRINT. The low price point of this commissioned portrait, which was set to be affordable, necessitates that I take full creative control, and that we don't dally with discussion over several emails. Copyright of the final image will remain with me, and I reserve the right to make any reproductions of the image. I ask that you do not make reproductions of the image without written permission from me. Though sharing photos on social media and tagging me is more than welcome and appreciated. Please do spread the word!
